Would you like to book a workshop for a group in your community? AALEC workshops are lively, informative and entertaining. A workshop facilitator will travel to your community and provide a FREE workshop on any of the following topics:

  • Breach Charges - Explains the many types of pre-sentence release conditions…
  • Parenting - Highlights legal rights and responsibilities that come with having children…
  • Landlord and Tenant Act - Highlights the legal rights and responsibilities of tenants when moving in and out of rental properties… 
  • Traffic Violations - Describes various traffic violations and their consequences…
  • ABC’s of Child Youth Family Enhancement Act - Helps participants navigate their way through their involvement in Children’s Services…
  • Identity Theft - Explains what identity theft is, provides advice on protecting yourself against it and outlines what to do if it happens to you…

Workshops include video and PowerPoint presentations, role playing activities and question and answer periods.  AALEC also provides participants with great resource materials to take home.
